Vivian Maier photographed mainly street scenes in Chicago throughout the 1950s-1970s. She passed away earlier this week and a large portion of her work was discovered in an auction by John Maloof, who posted about it in a discussion thread on Flickr. There are some really strong photographs in the collection, well worth a look.
